Collection: Roux Truter

Roux Truter is a Pretoria based artist whom studied illustration at the Open Window school of visual communication. Also a photographer and designer, his passion has always been art - the decision to pursue this calling was not a difficult one to make. 

In the mid-2000's he apprenticed and studied with acclaimed artist Jan-Henri Booyens. To generate a part-time income, whilst still focussing on idea creation and art, he started teaching art at Carpe Diem academy. He is now a full time artist, fiercely focussed on conceptualizing and transmitting his art to canvas and other medium.

Roux's work is mostly abstract with figurative elements, incorporating strong emotional responses and elements.
